On Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October, Droitwich Camera Club will be holding our 2nd photographic exhibition at Spetchley Gardens in Worcester.
For this to be as successful as it was last year we need help from our members.
Can you provide one or more of your best/favourite mounted prints for us to display? The theme of your images can be left to you depending upon which genre you favour. The size of print would preferably be the usual A3. I will be collecting images from you over the first 3 weeks, the 5th, 12th and 19th September. I will need your name and title of the work on the back of the image. This is to allow time for labelling of the work. If you would like to sell your picture, please include a price.
As well as your images, I will also be looking for helpers to set up the exhibition on Tuesday 27th September, to dismantle it on Sunday 2nd October and to volunteer to be stewards to oversee the two days when the exhibition is open to the public. These sessions will be 10am to 1pm and 1pm to 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Ideally we would need two stewards for each session.
The exhibition is a lovely way to get the name of Droitwich Camera Club known. We are frequently praised by judges of our club competitions for the high standard of images displayed and this is an opportunity to share our passion.
I look forward to your support.
Thanks
