Monday 4th April 2022 saw the annual competition for the Wychavon Trophy hosted this year by Droitwich Camera Club who were competing against Vale of Evesham Camera Club for this prestigious trophy. The competition was judged by John Haines a regular visitor to both clubs who as always, was very fair with his comments. He congratulated both clubs on the quality and diversity of the images used his only complaint being that he had had a very hard time judging between the images as they were all extremely good.
We are pleased to report that Droitwich Camera club retained the trophy in this keenly fought Wychavon Interclub Competition against Vale of Evesham Camera Club winning with a narrow margin of seven points. This is always a keenly fought competition between the two clubs and over the years has been fairly balanced.
There were fifty images in total (twenty five from each club), of those images only four of them managed to score the maximum amount of twenty points. Congratulations should go in particular to Dave Rawlings, Ian Johnston and Rick Harding from Droitwich camera Club whose images all achieved the maximum score and helped us to win the trophy.
The gallery below shows the images that were entered on behalf of Droitwich Camera Club.
