DPI of the year 2020-2021 Season

Our annual picture of the year competition was held on Monday 19th April 2021. This season was a little unusual as due to COVID we have only been able to host our meetings and competitions via zoom. Hence this year there were no dedicated print competitions so only the Standard and Advanced Digitally Printed Image Trophies were up for grabs.

The criteria for entering the competition is that each member can enter up to 3 images. The images must also have been awarded a score of 16 or more in one of the earlier competitions of that season.

Our judge for the competition was John Haines. This year saw 46 entries from the Advanced Members and 25 entries from the Standard Members. As usual the standard of all of the entered images was extremely high and congratulations go out to all of the members that entered.

There can of course be only one winner in each section and this year  the Advanced Trophy was won by Robin Couchman for his image entitled Slovenian Hay Barn which was entered in the 5th Monthly Competition. The Standard Trophy was won by Andrew Bradbury for his image entitled quality Control which was entered in the 6th Monthly Competition.
