Who are Droitwich Camera

Who are Droitwich Camera Club

Droitwich Camera Club has plenty to offer the novice or the more experienced photographer and caters for both film and digital users. As a Club, we like to support and help to improve our members' work and photographic skills.

Each month we have a number of visiting photographic speakers presenting on a varied range of photographic specialities and interests.  We also hold regular print and Digitally Projected Image (DPI) competitions within the Club and against other Clubs in the region with the entries scored by a visiting judge.

In addition, we organise trips (for Members Only) to photograph specific things, either locally or further afield. Examples include birds of prey, bluebell woods, steam trains, Birmingham by night and many other unique events.

We have a mentoring programme where one to one assistance is available to Members to aid your photographic learning at no additional cost, just a facility we offer as we want our members to feel valued and help you develop at your own pace.

Why not visit the Club and learn more about photography including: digital imaging and film photography, printing your pictures, how to improve the composition, quality and impact of your photographs, and so much more. Just come along. We meet locally at Chawson Barn Community Hall, New Chawson Lane, Droitwich, WR9 0AQ on Monday evenings, 8.00-10.00 pm (September - April). See the 'How to Find Us' page. Non-members are welcome to come along to any of our evenings for a small charge.

The club constitution can be found on the “Downloads” page.
