Tony Winfield: 'Introduction to Creative Photography'
Tony is a very active Member of Stafford Camera Club. His talk is intended to inspire Members to produce more creative images. He believes that photography should be fun and creating images that are different is a fun side of photography. His talk will kick off with a short debate on the links between art and creative photography and a definition of creative photography. He will then consider various techniques for producing creative images both in-camera (filters, slow shutter speed, smearing with Vaseline, breathing on the lens, creative composition, moving the camera or lens, etc.) and in the computer (use of plug-in filters such as Nik filters, Redfield and Topaz, toning, montages, etc.). His talk will contain plenty of images that are examples of creative photography and will include four AVs containing creative images.
