Welcome to Droitwich Camera Club's website. We are a small and friendly society and we welcome new members of all ages and abilities.  If you are interested in developing your photography further why not come along to one of our regular Monday evening meetings

Happy New Year

We hope that your Christmas & New Year celebrations went with a bang and we look forward to seeing you for the remainder of our programme this season.

We start off 2018 with a visit on Monday 8th January from Claire Carter, a local landscape photographer with her presentation entitled 'Perpetually in Motion'. This talk argues that landscape photography should be considered an action genre and Claire will show many images and several AV presentations to illustrate this point.  She considers her own motion, the rotation of our planet and in particular how the forces of nature impact on landscape photography.  One AV is devoted to aurora photography.

The following week on Monday 15th January we have our 4th Monthly Competition on the subjects of 'Open' Prints and DPIs of 'Panels'. Our Judge for the evening will be John Lacey. Make sure to get your entries in by midnight on Sunday 7th January.

All meetings will continue to take place at Chawson Barn Community Hall, Old Chawson Lane, Droitwich Spa, WR9 0BA and don't forget, visitors are more than welcome (small charge made) so bring along a friend or family member with you to a future meeting. New members are always welcome too, see the Information tab on the website for further details if you would like to learn more and expand your photographic horizons in 2018.

Best Wishes and happy snapping for 2018.
